Great location...lovely smell in reception.
The location is great....2 min walk to Bayswater station, walking distance to Hyde Park. Hotel reception smells nice. Staff are very friendly & helpful.
The bathroom in our room smelt of sewerage & tje extracter fan did not work but I reported on leaving & I'm sure the Management will rectify this.

What was the highlight of La Suite West - Hyde Park
Overall okay stay
The location is absolutely perfect - there are two underground stations less than 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Also plenty of cafes, eateries and small convenience shops near by. The staff were wonderful as well, very helpful, polite and courteous. We stayed in petite double and I was surprised that the room was bigger than expected. Room also had air conditioning and the interior was very sleek and modern
There were only two things that were subpar- cleanliness and the elevator. Elevator was making really weird noise and felt like it was on its last legs, so we used the stairs as much as possible. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room - the bedding was clearly not changed from the previous visitors as I noticed what looked like make up stains on the bedsheets. There were also stains on mattress covers and bed runner, as well as on the carpet. The tv remote was really dirty too as was the phone. We only noticed this when we got back after being in town and it was quite late and we were too tired so we didn’t say anything, but once we returned next day, although the staff made the bed none of the issues- the bedding, phone, remote were addressed. As much as it is fair to say we could’ve said something, I think we shouldn’t have had to as cleanliness and fresh bedding is a bare minimum one would expect from a hotel.
