Excellent little boutique hotel with well specced rooms for a lovely stay.

Lovely boutique hotel near the centre and close to Hyde Park. Loads of local restaurants and shops and close to two tube stations and local bus routes. Rooms were really comfortable and well done with good facilities and a fridge!

No major issues. There was no bar or evening food available in the restaurant itself but I wasn’t there much during the stay.

Position was great a short distance from two, quite close tube stations.

Coffee/tea in the room

Small breakfast area, there is waiting time for a place at the table, but breakfast was good! When we were booking , there was no option to buy extra breakfast, which we did then on arrival. Yet we were checked by the breakfast staff if we did have a paid breakfast.

Our stay overall was good. Overpriced for the facilities and what was available. We also were able to hear the undergrou

Great location. Very central and close to tube stations. Easy to get about the city.

Our room was on the ground floors outside the toilets for the hotel, along with an office and kitchen. Which from early in the morning, the door to the kitchen was left open and the office door. Meaning we were woken up every morning to the sound of dishes being clattered and washed, and often phone calls being made. It’s unfortunate as there was an easy fix, of just closing the door. But this was overlooked by staff. Disappointed by this.

A good comfortable hotel for our weekend break

Location was perfect and two underground stations within a few minutes walk. High street nearby for any essentials and a good pub as hotel has no bar

The underground line runs under the room - may be a problem if you’re a light sleeper although they don’t run all night

The location was very convenient. Air conditioning in the bedroom was good. Room safe was large, good for 2 laptops.

Our bed was on the other side of the wall from the elevator and every single time the elevator door opened it pinged very loudly and sounded like someone was ringing a bell in our room. I laid a complaint with reception after the first night, as we slept so badly. I was ignored. Also the room doors slam very loudly and incessantly so the noise levels resonate and were awful. Even wearing ear plugs, from the 2nd night, it was intolerable. The room was tiny too, despite being a superior room, with no space or facility to put a suitcase and you had to remove the chair to be able to open a draw. Not 4 Star. Ignored the vegen restaurant and we are not vegans.

Very aesthetically pleasing hotel.

My card was charged 3 times (1 for my actual room and 2 pending payments which were taken 2 days before arrival and are still currently pending 5 days later). Plus an extra £50 taken on arrival for pending. So a total of £677 currently out of my bank waiting to be refunded for a £209 room. Rooms very small and not too indifferent from a £30 room at a budget hotel.

Good comfy bed, large bathroom. Nice to have a fridge and kettle. Great position for Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.

More milk would have been good. Asked for extra and it was no problem.

Fantastic location for events in Hyde Park. Rooms were small but well laid out to use the space, nice beds, very clean, perfect for a one-night stay. Great shower. Lovely outside terrace for breakfast and afternoon tea.

It seems strange not to mention on Booking.com that the breakfast, including the so-called "Traditional English", is actually 100% vegan. We really think you should make that clear. Having said that, it was a very good breakfast on a lovely terrace. On the subject of breakfast, we thought it was a bit cheeky that only one type of tea was included in the breakfast price, and the alternative types they had available were charged at full price. Finally, we didn't like the fact that the corridor lighting was very dim. Seems trivial, but with slightly uneven floors and trendy black floor tiles, a lot of people seemed to be stumbling.

Air conditioning!! Bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a bathtub/shower.

There was no TV in my room but my friend had two in her room. I also didn't like the car service the hotel uses rather than calling a proper London cabbie. We said we'd pay by credit card but the driver pushed us to pay cash or write down the credit card number. We refused and he returned us to the hotel.

Hotel position and location ensured good night’s rest and easy access to transport links. Staff friendly and room exceptionally clean.

Limited breakfast which was quite pricy even for London. Room very small with no place to sit other than on the bed, some would call this double rather “pokey” as no space to unload luggage and little cupboard or hanging space. Corridors were also very dark to navigate. If you can avoid room 116!

Excellent location and staff. Bed was comfy. Air conditioning was superb.

Lack of lighting both in the room , bathroom and corridors. This with black floor tiles made it difficult to detect inclines. Furniture and floor covering very tired and carpet frayed on some steps and several stains in the corridors. One part of the wardrobe door was peeling off. Bath difficult to get in and out of so would benefit from a handrail. One small bottle of shampoo and body was not really sufficient for two people.

The location and room was fantastic. The staff were pleasant, polite and attentive.

We stayed for one night but had to pay £24 for parking in a nearby public underground car park. The advert stated there was on-site parking, which was one reason for choosing it as my wife is disabled.
